While I usually advocate for little to no skin retouching for an authentic look because your ‘imperfections’ make you unique, it’s always up to you. You may choose what intensity of skin smoothing you want:

Natural (none)
Light
Extra
Glam
Plastic

You can think of these in percentages. Light is the most chosen, it’s barely noticeable but makes you look softer. Extra is in the middle at 50%. Glamour is of course a model’s pick at 75%, looks flawless. Plastic is 100%, I never go there nor do I recommend it, though many photographers do make skin look like plastic, I never liked it, nor do the majority of professional models. You will look like a life-size doll.
